Summer may be over, but the CADC is back in session! Vacations are but a memory, the children are back in school, traffic is back to miserable. Join your creative community for some Back to Cool inspiration, to reconnect and re-energize. The 2009 Student Conference and Scholarship Competition, hosted by the CADC for over twenty years, was held on Saturday, April 25th at the Hartford Art School.

We do this by sharing ideas, inspiring one another, and supporting each other's professional growth. We cultivate a community where students can find mentors to give them the productive advice they need to become successful. We know being creative is only part of the equation, so we make sure our community understands the business of being in the creative business.
Once a year, we gather to spend an evening celebrating the achievements of our colleagues throughout the state. The Annual Awards Show honors excellence in 8 main categories: advertising, environmental design, graphic design, illustration, online/interactive, photography, student, and video. From the earliest days of the Club, the show has always been the cornerstone of the CADC.
