Since 1988 ISI had been providing prepress and camera services for the printing industry at our trade shop in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 2003, we moved to the Blue Ridge and changed our business model to include web, print, design, and document services. In September of 2007, we opened a new location on Main Street in Sparta, North Carolina.We listen to our customers to project the image they want, and we're proud of that. We learned early on not to insert our opinions or personal tastes, to work toward "faithful reproduction of the customer's originals." We've not forgotten that rule. We respect our customer's wishes. Protection of our customers' data is of utmost importance to Imaging Specialists, Inc. ISI has been in business for over 20 years with no incident of disclosure of customer information.

From simple black & white to glossy 4-color documents, ISI gives your project the professional, finished look it deserves. We provide printing services to meet virtually every need. ISI can generate almost any graphic using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. We can convert your existing logo to a vector graphic that can be output at any size or format.
For a few years, the Alleghany Historical - Genealogical Society has produced a television series called Alleghany Memories. The series features interviews that last around an hour each with, "older folks from our area, " and is broadcast over Alleghany Community Television. Imaging Specialists has always helped with graphics for the series, but since 2018, we've been editing the episodes, as well.
We accept files in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PDF, Microsoft Word or Publisher. ISI runs the full Adobe Creative Cloud system on Mac and on PC, and has used Adobe software on both platforms since 2000. Regardless of whether the image is going to be used be used in print or on the web, provide the largest version of the image and we'll re-size it to look the best (and if necessary, load the quickest). For instance, a 6"x6" image from the web would print at only 1.44"x1.44" in a brochure or ad and 2.16"x2.16" in a newspaper.

Imaging Specialists, Inc. of Sparta, North Carolina is the best. With their assistance and handholding, I just published my first children’s picture book, Grandpa! Grandpa! What Will I See?
