My favorite chef is Michael Chiarello, I ate at his restaurant, Botegga, in Napa Valley, California for one of my big birthdays. I've known my husband Jeremy for 20+ years, though I always think his birthday is 9/17 when it's actually on 9/19. We've traveled to China. The air quality really got to me when we landed in Shanghai, I had a bit of an asthma attack.
I don't watch sports on television, but, I love watching the Olympics, can't wait for it to start again. As a child I thought I wanted to be a veterinarian because a friend of the family was one and I loved animals. I'm from the Midwest and worked a lot of farm jobs growing up, baled hay, detasselled corn, walked beans, and planted and harvested tomatoes.

She recently did my businesses website, Slices Brick Oven House; and when I say great job. I mean WONDERFUL job. I had no clue what I wanted and she created something so awesome!

Total scam nightmare! I reached out to Michaelle to create artwork of my dog's face in the style of the Cane Corso I have attached to this review. If I had known she would have gone in a completely opposite direction of what I asked for, I would not have paid a $190 deposit. She said it would be 1-2 hours of work at $95 an hour and asked for a $190 deposit which made me think twice.
I still paid it no questions asked, but the second I saw what she created I told her I was unhappy. I didn't even ask her to make edits, I just wanted to cut ties immediately. There is no shading, no dimension, it looks like an emoji. (I have attached her work as well) She also created the circle and font part of the logo that I did not ask for because I created that myself and my version was exactly what I wanted and much better than what she had created.
I'm assuming she was just trying to spend more time on my logo for more money. My family works for a worldwide graphic design company and I could have had what she did made for cheap. But I know what I want is not as simple as what she created. I trusted a fellow colleagues recommendation only to find out she only used Michaelle for business cards.
I try to support local but I am very hesitant now. I guess Moses Lake isn't the place to get high quality work done. I just moved from Nashville, TN so maybe my expectations are higher. If Michaelle would have created something remotely close to what I asked for I would have understood her keeping partial payment of the deposit. It has been over a month since Michaelle said she would pay my deposit back.
I have been back and forth with poor communication over where my money is at. Now she is saying her bank did not write my apartment number down and that she is not going to send another check because "she did the work." The second I said I was unhappy and wanted to back out she has been rude and unprofessional. Please think twice before working with her.
This is a joke. If something is out of your field, refer the client to somebody who can provide the service. Don't present them mediocre work hoping they will settle so you can take their money.
