Vast Graphics is a graphic design studio operated by Chris and Ellen Ruggia. After receiving their bachelor in fine arts degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, Chris and Ellen moved to Alpine, Texas. They have been providing custom web and print design services to businesses and nonprofit organizations since 1997. Chris is also the author and illustrator of the comic book series, Jack: Adventures in Texas' Big Bend. Most of Ellen's personal artwork focuses on plants of the Big Bend region of Texas.

Our goal is to provide attractive, clean and simple designs for web sites, advertisements and printed pieces that are tailored to the specific needs of our clients. We view design not as our personal creative vision, but as a collaboration, bringing together the client's expertise in their own industry and our skills in communications and production.
Planning and strategy are as much a part of design as attractive visuals, and are often much more important in achieving the goals of a business. Most of our client relationships are for the long term, and consultation on communications and marketing strategy is an important part of what we bring to the table.
