Selected Career Accomplishments:
¥ Started working for printers and ad agencies in NYC, learning how to rule forms, design menus, design ads, do mechanical paste-ups, designing full page color layouts, spec type for customer ideas to help design ads. 

¥ Started to work with computers and software programs, learning as I went along and implementing different procedures in producing all types of design artwork. 

¥ A computers became the norm for the industry, I started to learn how to program them with all the different software that was necessary for that particular individual or company. Also begin to fix and upgrade systems.

Working with (AEs) Account Executives on All Weichert Real Estate Ads, Newspaper ads, slicks, brochures, mailer cards, logos, design ads, In-Column Ads in BW and full color or Spot color, working on both PC and Mac platforms. Working with 6-people in the department. With all major production software, such as Pagemaker, Adobe InDesign, MS Word, Quark, Photoshop, some illustrator. Mostly working with a software called CELEBRO putting together approx. 10-14 full weekly newspapers, doing full page ads for Weichert in different territories in PA and NJ locations. Sometimes working directly with the AEs and/or the Agents. COMPANY JUST LAYED OFF MANY EMPLOYEES INCLUDING MYSELF, AND SHUT DOWN STUDIO DEPT.

Production Manager 
Started as a Graphic Artist for a local weekly newspaper six years ago, worked up to Production Manager, with 2-man art department, put the newspaper to bed on Fridays after a 4-day week of designing ads, photo work, working with such media as Pagemaker & PhotoShop, and with Quark, and MS word. Laying out ads, downloading ads from internet, working with PDF files. When I would receive the ads from Sales Reps, I would have freedom of expression of layouts. Paging the newspaper at the end of the week by marrying up the Ads and Editorials and photos. Newspaper was Sold.

Sole Proprietorship. Work with many sources of media, owning my own MAC and PC equipment. Designing, Business forms, (cont. and flat), Menu designs, News letters, Brochures, color separations, camera ready artwork for printers, etc. Working with such clients as: Hotels, Restaurants (in the area), Insurance companies, Parke-Davis and other pharmaceutical companies, small and large printers. Also Upgraded and repaired ALL computers as part of the business.
