Electric Pictures is a graphic design studio specializing in logos, branding, print and web. We believe graphic design is a creative endeavor that balances marketing savvy with intuition and imagination. Our philosophy is that creative endeavors have no predetermined outcomes and that there are infinite design solutions to every design problem. As designers and consultants, our task is one of discovering and uncovering. At Electric Pictures, we also believe that graphic design is a collaborative process.

Paul Young has over 40 years of experience in ad agencies, design firms, publishing and education. Recently, he retired as a tenured professor at Parkland College in Champaign IL (see curriculum vitae). He believes in the collaborative process of design and educating clients about this process. Paul has always admired the work of film title designer Kyle Cooper and the music videos by Michel Gondry. His favorite person in the world is his partner and muse, Bonnie. Bonnie Burgund believes that small things matter and people are important.
