So, you know that I'm a freelance artist for hire, providing custom illustration and graphic design services, and that I also create offbeat fine art, but you want to know more. I was born in the mid-70's and given the name Michael John. My last name is Auger and is pronouced Oh-zhay (rhymes with okay).

JIM'S Inc. is a company that provides many different kinds of home services. I suggested a multi-tasking octopus as a mascot which has been incorporated into all of the company's branding. This is one of many advertisements I designed for the company. These are a few examples of ad designs I created while art director for Eastman Strings to promote their instruments and cases. I also created their logo and took the photography used in these ads.

The dog in this logo represents the many breeds of herding and livestock guardian dogs used throughout the United States and around the world to manage the herd and protect against predators. These dogs are loyal, friendly, tireless in their work, ever-vigilant of potential threats, and aggressive in protecting those in their charge - the perfect symbol for the ASOC, consistent with both its mission and enabling approach to security operations. The slash marks at the base of his neck pay tribute to the familiar green fields of the USDA logo.
