His Austin design studio offers digital and print design services, including posters, programs, brochures, magazines, newsletters and book design, plus websites, web banners, email, and other interactive design.

Prior to launching Basement Light Design, Scott was director of publications for the New World Symphony in Miami Beach; and advertising designer for New Times, Miami's arts and entertainment weekly.

Basement Light creates several electronic and print publications (such as the catalog and white paper seen here) for Hart InterCivic, leader in voting systems and election supplies. A vast improvement over their previous materials, the client applauded the organized layout and large product photography. In fact, the catalog helped Hart gain an important new voting district.
